Christian Franzen's work references the muses of his life and how those archetypes have informed his memories and self-perception. His work doubly reflects how the the lived/shared space naturally creates these limitations of perception.
It seems in 2020 we are active witnesses to this veil of misinformed perceptions (the way things have always been) being tested and dismantled. What we held so tightly to as normal, we now see it as mere relativity, mere chains and shackles.
What are the archetypes you held tightly to that were seemingly integral to your identity? Are you challenged to let it go in 2020? -Naomi Stewart

Today, the volunteers got a walkthrough of our show, led by a few of our cohort’s curators. Next up? You get to see the show and we can’t wait to see you!
Our opening reception is tomorrow from 6-9pm.
We’ll have an artist walkthrough on Dec 14 from 1-3pm and a closing reception on Dec 21 from 1-3pm.
