Gregg, my brother.
The loss of you has devastated so many. There’s been an outpouring of love for you since the news broke of your passing. You really were such a special guy… I don’t have enough words to describe how special. It’s wrapped up in the sound you made - your guitar playing, the soul you put into any piano. I can’t imagine a world without you creating some of the best music we’ve ever heard.
Brother Greeg, You helped change my life. You, Bethany, and Chan came into my world and altered its course forever. We were thick as thieves from the start, and you felt like family from day one.
Your talent, skill, and passion for music were immense and deeply inspiring. Thank you for guiding us through it all. I can still hear your voice in my in-ears. You were the most hilarious person I’ve ever met, and you never stopped making us laugh. Bless you for your jokes.
We shared so many memories — wild, beautiful, difficult, hilarious, human memories — and every one of them fills me now with gratitude, love, and longing. I always thought I’d get to see you play again. It was one of the highest honors of my life to share a stage with you.
I’ll carry your spirit, your music, and your brotherhood with me always. I love you, Greeg.
