Our spring window is here and is inspired by the FRiends Of the GreenGrocer 🐸(FROGGS) which is all of you! This is an homage to us, our connection to one another and the land. Each frog has its own personality, inspired by a variety of native California frogs and toads (yes toads are froggs too 🤗), making a unique species full of love, resistance and care.

Froggs are a symbol for transformation, fertility and cleansing and as we transition into the warmer blooming months these froggs are a reminder of the tending we do and what happens when we grow together and deepen our roots. We hope to see you at the shop and can’t wait to hear about your favorite FROGG💕🐸🪷

Somos Agua, We are Water Altar | 2026
I had the honor to create an altar honoring water and the lives of Pauite/ Shoshone and Tongva water protectors and teachers who are no longer in the physical realm.

Thank you Cindy and for inviting me to be apart of this exhibit at such a high honor. To be recognized for my altar building skills and asked to create something with water in mind during my Pisces season felt even more special and aligned.

To have this altar viewed and embraced by AnMarie Mendoza who is staff at Owen’s Valley Indian Water Commission was truly a reminder of this calling. Seeing her embrace the altar and feel its power was unlike any other and I’m blessed to have witnessed it.

Las trenzas of You Are Enough 🪢

I wanted to create a surreal experience with these braids, almost like they were extensions of Alyssa that held their own movement and energy. I envisioned the braids suspended in motion, merging strength with cultural expression to create a bold sculptural statement. To accomplish this I incorporated extensions and red ribbon, exaggerating their length and presence.

Braiding has been such a beautiful way for me to slow down, express and connect with myself, my roots and others. With this project specifically, I felt called to braid with the tree outside my home. To create art in and with nature is a beautiful thing and I look forward to more opportunities to connect with the Tierra

‘You are Enough’ is an exploration piece inspired by .garciaaa

The more this project unfolded we recognized the larger message we were asked to share. It’s not just about accomplishments, it’s about embracing and finding yourself. This piece explores ancestry, cultural artistry, self empowerment and love.

I see these photographs and feel the impact of her words (shared in previous reel) and exploration of herself. I feel her support system behind her and the protection they offer too.

This print was designed for the Together We Ride event on Nov 8th ❤️💚🖤TWR gave people a space to be part of creativity and community in solidarity with communities impacted by raids in Long Beach and the genocide in a Gaza. We were able to raise $1280 from this event!
