Oh Sally’s next production —Kickstarter picked us to be added to the long story shorts program in March. We still have a long way to go. I funded a lot of comic book Kickstarter, but this is the first film we’re doing. It’s a lot harder to find backers. Does anyone want to do an update trade?

We are shooting a new short film- WOMANHOOD: A TRILOGY, three short horror comedies written and directed by Elizabeth J. Musgrave. These three separate films chronicle women in various stages of their lives.

We are seeking funding for production, post-production, and film festival expenses. We have already self-funded "maiden" and are looking for funds to complete the productions of "Mother" and "CRONE." The completed project will be approximately 30 mins in length.

In January 2025, we had a successful two-day shoot for "maiden." You can see photos of the shoot below.

Written and Directed by Elizabeth J. Musgrave

Elizabeth J. Musgrave is a playwright/screenwriter/director based in Los Angeles. Her screenplays have placed as a finalist in Script Pipeline, First Look Project, and the Golden Script Competition. Her most recent play, Parlour Games, directed by Elizabeth and Frank Forte, ran for six performances in the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2024. Her full-length play Dream Big, directed by John Coppola, won Pick of the Fringe and the Hollywood Encore Producers' Award at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2023. Her short film 'Soundman' completed a twenty-eight festival run and received several awards including Best Comedy Film of 2022 at the Bird Watching Film Festival in Kansas City, MO. Her graphic novel Farmhouse is published by Asylum Press.
