The exhibition will run from Nov 17 – Jan 5.

“Rafale” by AKAirways is an exhibition consisting of an array of crescent-shaped inflatable volumes. Suspended from the ceiling, each crescent is inflated by sequenced fans and lit from the inside by LED strings to create a glowing kinetic object. The resulting piece, gentle but menacing, imposing but fragile references evolution, DNA sequencing, emerg

ence, the ephemeral and the notion of potential. The exhibition, “Rafale”, means gust or burst of air in French and is also the name of a French fighter aircraft. AKAirways installations have continually focused on the pursuit of kinesis, collaboration, DIY, modularity and open-source.
