Mainstream dangle entertainment robots over low income young people with some talent giving them false hopes that they too will make it in the music industry. By now, we have all heard what goes on behind the curtain and on the casting couches. Hotwordz Lyrical Theatre0 is here to tell you it is your fans, family, friends, and supporters who are your best shot. Hotwordz is so anti-mainstream and our goal is for true artists to take a rise from the gutter of Mainstream and the hoops and back flips they make you as an artist do over the passion you have for your craft. We all know Mainstream keeps Hip Hop music sounding like gutter ear hurtin pain music. Hip Hop for one has taken a real beating and R/B is not that far behind. Music culture has died on mainstream radio stations with the rat tat tat of the same jungle electronic beat giving the young folks lyrical garbage to eat. If you are looking for a little break from the norm, Hotwordz Lyrical Theatre provides a wonderful alternative change for a couple of hours in your life as you spark what’s hot in Independent Musicand the Arts. By the time the Hotwordz Crewsaderz take hold of the mic, grab what helps you through your day and get lost in the electrifying music, entertainment, and out of this world conversations with the production team on HLT. It’s Hotwordz, so you know how we do it as the Crew provides good music taking you into a good night. Your next day will be bright listening to your hosts of Hotwordz Lyrical Theatre, Sade’ and Michelle Garrett, along with the King of Music, Shank Man. The Hotwordz Story

Hotwordz Lyrical Theatre broadcasts every first Saturday from 2p.m. – 4p.m. PST on The Hub Radio located in Compton, Ca. Authors, Spoken Word Poets and Entertainers are invited to share in the network of creative artists on each broadcast. There are some artists who will take a little time from their crafts to sit and chat with Dani J, Simbolic, J3 The Freestyle King, and Village Slum, the hosts of Hotwordz Lyrical Theatre.

HLT is an international event because you never know who or where artists are tuning in from to be a part of the Hotwordz showcase. Some of the guests and visitors are published writers, and some are freestyle hip hop entertainers. These artists have made a name for themselves or they are on a good path to it. HLT features Independent artists from all over the world bringing a community of creative entrepreneurs together to network. We take lyrics to the test with our ‘Freestyle Poetry Verses Freestyle Hip Hop.
