I’ve been capturing Sparrow’s work for years, and it’s been such a gift to witness her journey.

The space at Sparrow’s Nest Massage is truly something special — cozy, nurturing, and full of intention. Dedicated to women’s massage and birth support, it’s a sanctuary where women are deeply cared for on their conceiving and healing paths.

I’m honored to follow Sparrow’s vision from the very beginning and see how she and her amazing team continue to hold space for so many with tenderness and strength.

I photographed my dear friend Shana — someone who holds such a special place in my life. She was my very first friend when we moved to LA back in 2007.

There’s something powerful about that first real connection in a new city. Shana helped set the tone for what community would look like here — warm, creative, open-hearted, diverse. Having just one good friend at the start can shape everything that comes after.

Grateful for her friendship, ​​and for how she made the transition to LA feel less like a move — and more like finding a family.
