This class for anyone new to the style, or new to “belly dance”, or to seasoned individuals to want to go back and prefect their foundational skills. It all starts with a good base and all of us should revisit that base from time to time.

Our very own Mark Bissell will be preforming and teaching at Cairo ShimmyQuake this June 8-9th.

The Gala Show is on June 7th and I will join a line-up of some of the world-renowned dance and music talent.

Join me on Sunday, June 8th, where I will be teaching a group improv-based workshop “Ques and To Dos”.
It’s a back-to-basics approach rooted in Fat Chance Belly Dance, where we will explore the foundations of the art form.
It’s a refresher for experienced dancers, and a dip in the FCBD pool for newer dancers.

We will also learn new moves from Seraphim Arabesque Ensemble’s SAS dance style and finish with how to create your own successful lead-follow dance movements.
