As a touring DJ and eczema girly, I’ve been making more of an effort to incorporate mental and physical wellness into my lifestyle. After coming back from my Asia tour, I was looking for clinic recommendations and ways to be more intentional about the treatments I get. That’s when I found RESET LASER CLINIC. 🫶🏻
I initially came in for a lymphatic facial, but after a consultation, I was recommended the Meridian Massage & Facial, a therapeutic bodywork technique rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and popular in Korean culture as well. It focuses on the body’s energy channels, known as meridians, which are believed to connect different organs and tissues through the flow of Qi.
This is where the slapping technique came in and got my blood FLOWINGGG which didn’t hurt, she got 30 years of technique. Not only did Lina focus on my face, neck, and shoulders, but she also taught me how even the arms play a role when it comes to addressing lymphatic drainage in the face :)
While I was there, I also wanted to get some of my old eyebrow tattoo removed because I had gotten them tatted a while back and the tails were a little too thick for my liking. It hurt a little, but the Kuromi pillow held it down 🫶🏻
For my second visit, I went with a mix of InMode Forma and InMode FX. Forma uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production, helping tighten the skin and improve overall texture. FX uses radiofrequency energy to target fat and help contour and sculpt the treatment area.
The treatments were pretty tolerable and I feel like I have pretty low pain tolerance especially when it comes to my eczema aah skin. I felt a few stronger zaps, especially around more sensitive areas like my jaw, but Angela was constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable.
