Mural painting finished 🫟🖌️🎨

Painted this mural for a community kitchen in Amsterdam Zuidoost, a place where people come together to share healthy, affordable meals with friends, family and their neighbours (we need more public food places like this in the world honestly)

The colors reflect the spirit of the space: vibrant, cultural, and full of life. It’s filled with love and energy, expressed through organic shapes, radiant tones, and delicious fruits and vegetables that makes you excited for the food being serveddd 🍱

The abstract shapes in the background symbolise all the things that we are surrounded with that appeal very aesthetically pleasing for the eyes like candy, but we don't actually need it. 🍥

Lately I've been noticing that we are so brainwashed and this society in certain belief systems..

I was actually starting this painting with no idea what I was doing. I just took the canvas with me to a park in Amsterdam and somebody walked to me said: "She eating a doughnut" so I changed it to the shape of a doughnut. (Afterwards the man gave me a joint. God bless ya soul) I think the donut now symbolises that we are always craving for more and more. The hunger is never satisfied. Human being are greedy and possessive. History shows people always wanted more and more, to sometimes conquering other land and colonise it. We have to change the way we think on a collective scale. Mother earth, divine nature, animals, trees, the ocean and air, are all suffering due to this. We don't need more, we are already abundant and have everything we need 🍩

/ thought from my notes: i've noticed how many compliments today are based on appearance. in this 3D world it almost feels like we’ve learned to speak through materialism complimenting clothes, beauty, status, aesthetics. a capitalistic language that keeps feeding the idea that our value lives on the outside, while costing Mother Earth more and more of her natural resources if we keep consuming more and more - because what we give energy grows 𓆸

what if we started complimenting each other on our energy, our spirit, our kindness. our consciousness, our presence, our way of loving, creating, listening, healing?

because sometimes I meet the most beautiful, stylish people who feel completely empty inside. appearance is just a shell. and the older I get, the more conscious I become of the words I give to people and why I give them.

some of the most meaningful compliments I’ve received recently came from people who looked beyond the surface and saw my energy

why isn’t there more of that?

After seeing the Michael Jackson movie in the cinema, I got so inspired and motivated to share my (he)art. His music has been in the background while painting this piece. Ever since I was a small kid, I was listening and dancing to his music. I remember getting goosebumps, and emotional from his lyrics, i still do. I grew up with his visionary energy and he definitely will always have an imprint on my mind. He has been an example of how to use your voice, and put a deeper message in your art - to inspire and heal the world.

He is one of the greatest dancers I know and he keeps on inspiring me by the dance workshops he organises worldwide go check it out and join a dance class

The ultimate LA Experience: being on the road 90% of the time and being stuck in traffic. This made me realise you actually need a good taste in music to live in that city, and have a car, and patience, money, a lawyer, insurance.. however

Last time I was listening to alternative Indie rock I was very depressed and suicidal, but this was the first time I could listen to this genre and make good memories with it. I discovered and their music there, made me feel like I was in a movie.

During the time I was in LA, there were a lot of protests against ice. Even myself I had an awful encounter while entering the country. They went through my social media to see if i don't post activist art, but also my phone gallery where there are my intimate pics too lol. They thought I was a smuggler from amsterdam probably.

I always feel some type of way of going to the United States knowing that most of my family lives there, on the adopted side of my family, but not knowing them personally. They were also immigrants coming to the United States with the American dream. As I discover more of my heritage, I found out somebody in my lineage took their life during the great depression. They had a lot of kids and were in poverty so they had to give them away. Lately i'm getting to know more and more about generational trauma and how it's affecting me and how to heal it and connect with my ancestors.

I feel a lot when I see the amount of hate immigrants get. It's a mix of how can people be so ignorance, stupid and hateful. Such a shame to be a part of humanity sometimes. When I was shrooms, I deeply connected with the ground and felt the imbalance and turbulence. The frustration, injustice, pain, confusion and anger the earth is feeling right now.

Praying for a better world with love and unity but at the same time also working on it with joining social projects. I believe in the new earth. A place where everybody is welcome and loved. Borders are illusions. Give the land back to the indigenous population.

Inspired by the human experience: alchemy, occult, living with an open heart, techno from detroit, fasting, the illusion of time, being mindfull, grief, esoteric knowledge, LOVE, gratitude, vietnamese coffee, hallucinations due to a lack of sleep, aphex twin, the gateway experience, the collective consciousness, these mf period cramps, kindness from strangers i met on the streets, all synchronicities while traveling, ambience music, pyramids, dealing with unexpected stressfull situations, missing you, astral plane, sacred geometry, bell hooks, my ancestors, the subconscious mind, conspiracy theories, dark matter, interdimensional dating, shower thoughts, remembering past lifes, soulbreaks and the divine force of nature...
