⭐️ONE NIGHT ONLY⭐️ Pop-up show tomorrow night, Wednesday, July 23rd, 5-9 pm at the Birdhouse, 1512 South Robertson Blvd. Come see John Tierney in person! He’s here from the UK for his show! Many of you who have collected his work (myself included) know how wonderful it is. He immortalizes many institutions and facets of Los Angeles, some, like the old Amoeba, which no longer exist, to ones that do like Chateau Marmont. The Birdhouse is a serene, intimate setting for his work. Come join us!

New work from John Tierney: Chateau Marmont No. 11, 2023, oil on canvas, 40 x 30 inches. One of John’s favorite subjects, this latest composition a grand view of a historic and storied hotel. Built in 1929, it was modeled loosely after the Chateau d’Amboise, a royal retreat in France’s Loire Valley. The Chateau has been and continues to be a favorite of celebrities who have produced work at the hotel and it has been documented in film, literature and music as well as in art and fashion. It’s one of LA’s historical-cultural monuments and continues to intrigue us today. Email [email protected] or DM for price.
