"The Playground Los Angeles" is a young actors' conservatory teaching on-camera acting for film & television to youth. The acting lessons are supervised by Gary Spatz who has 20+ years experience. The Playground is an on-camera conservatory where young actors can challenge and stimulate their abilities. Gary Spatz and his staff of professional actors/teachers nurture each student's creativity and

help them find a way of working on-camera. They are dedicated to helping each child develop a personal technique for film & television as they train the young performer in the craft of acting.

Congratulations to Playgrounder Harry for his role in LEGO Education’s “We Trust in Kids” campaign! 🎉⭐️

We are incredibly proud of our 2026 graduate Harry for taking part in such a powerful project. “We Trust in Kids” is a short film directed by Lauren Greenfield for LEGO Education that gives students the space to start a conversation about AI and discuss their opinions on how it should be regulated. Throughout the piece Harry eloquently shares his thoughts on AI and how it should be used. Similar to our acting classes in Los Angeles, the film puts an emphasis on empowering kids’ voices and creativity.

Harry, your charisma, intellect, and authenticity are so inspiring! We are so excited for you and for the bright future of your career in film and TV! 🚀🎬

Congratulations to Playgrounder for her appearance in the new season of the hit TV show “Euphoria”! 🎬⭐️

It’s been a pleasure getting to know Tessa in our young adult acting classes in Los Angeles this past year. While also pursuing other sides to the film industry including directing and writing, she has kickstarted her acting career with working on season 3 of the award winning drama series “Euphoria”.

Congratulations to former Playgrounder for the 7-minute standing ovation at Cannes Film Festival of her new film “Victorian Psycho”! ⭐️✨

Since graduating from The Playground in 2007, Maika has skyrocketed in the film industry. The talent and dedication of her’s we got to know and love in our acting classes in Los Angeles is apparent in every project she takes part of.

She’s one of this generation’s top scream queens, known for her roles in hit horror films like “It Follows”, “Longlegs”, and “Watcher”. Her range also spans across a variety of genres with films like “Hot Summer Nights” in which she stars alongside Timothée Chalamet, and her new 2026 romance “Reminders of Him”.

Maika, it’s such a joy to see your acting career flourish. We are so excited for you and are so happy to see you getting the recognition you deserve! 🚀🎬
