Lela Meadow-Conner is also the founder of the Tallgrass Film Festival, founder of Mamafilm, producer of many shorts, a feature documentary, Chasing Amy, and was recently an executive producer on Run Amok, which premiered in the Dramatic Narrative Features selection at Sundance. If that’s not enough, she also runs a pop up micro cinema in Wichita, Kansas.

Snow and Slamdance co-founder Peter Baxter spoke about the filmmaking journey of You Look Fine, the intense and uplifting award winning documentary about living with Sickle Cell, which premiered at the 2026 Slamdance Film Festival.
