avid Evan Stolworthy and Katie Lynn who attended AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing arts together. In 2015 the company found success in their production of THE VIDEO GAMES which ran for three years, won several awards, toured comic conventions, fringe festivals nationwide, and ran Off-Broadway for seven months. MB Stage Productions believes there is nothing more powerful than an intimate and live performance to take you away to another world. They currently run two different theater programs: Nerds Gone Deep, which focuses on powerful and thought-provoking plays, dance pieces, and musicals; and Nerd Theatre, which is centered around geek and nerd culture, interactive storylines, and non-traditional theatrical boundaries. In 2018, the company took over operation of a summer arts camp in Torrance, CA and began working with other parts of the community to bring theatre and the arts to young artists.

We just finished up summer camps! 8 weeks of summer fun. Here are a few pics of the activities setups (no kids pictured for privacy) always a fun time in partnership with the Y!

This year’s camps: Jedi Training, Extreme Team Camp Half-blood (ala Percy Jackson), Avengers Fort Building, Pokemon Wilderness Survival, Its Saturday Night Live a Film Camp, Dungeons and Dragons, and Musical Theater.

Workshop #1: Meet The Venues has been rescheduled.

Monday, January 27th, from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
In Person at Actors Company | Livestream

This event will be live-streamed + recorded for those who are not ready to return to in-person events.

This two-part event will introduce you to Fringe venue managers who can offer you an idea of what to expect when working with different venues during Fringe. An excellent opportunity to meet people who rent out Fringe venues! Highly recommended for first-time Fringers who aren’t sure what venue is going to be the best for their show.
