About:
Telling of lived moments transformed, LA // color of light builds upon methods of capturing moving light and space in time. The date, timeframe, location, and weather are recorded as each is drawn en plein air within Los Angeles County.
Intersections of commonality between current and past residents are used to create a series-specific palette. Colors will be intentionally juxtaposed to mimic transparency, opacity, and movement – resulting in seeming, teeming abstractions.
