So many people contributed to the long and healthy run of Live Rude Girls. We'll be toasting you tomorrow night at Boardner's after our final show. We hope everyone can join us!
An incomplete list of folks to thank:
Everyone at Second City Hollywood, including Jen Hoyt, Josh Funk, Carrie-ann Pishnak, the office staff, the box office and house management team, the tech/stage management team
Our musical director and wonderful collaborator, Darcy Kendall, as well as the folks who filled in for her along the way, Maxwell Butler and Tony Gonzalez
The two ADs who saw us through the long nights, Michael Busza and Leah Sutherland
The understudies who had all our backs, including Silvana Gargione, Braxton Brooks, Alison Yates, Mirage Thrams Becky Sanders, Tress Glenn, Margo Rowder, Maya and especially original cast member Sarah Barenberg
The incredible casts of the shows that graciously shared Friday evenings with us: HisPanic Attack and Trump in Space
The audience members who came out and laughed, who kept coming back, who told their friends and shared our social media posts, who shared with us how much the show meant to you - that meant the world to us
The friends/family who put up with and supported late night shows and rehearsals, who ran lines and listened to pitches and jokes in development
Director/writer Nicole Williams, who envisioned an all-female, feminist sketch comedy show where there had been none, and made it happen
Writer/performers Andra Whipple, Audrey Goodman, Darby Rae, Jacklyn Uweh, Pia Smith, Robyn Heller, who kept showing up week after week to share this show with as many people as possible
