Richard Stan (born December 1, 1981) is a European (Bucharest, Romania) music video director who has collaborated with some of the most influential national and international artists (Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs and Harmony, Antonia, Compact, Lora, Marcel Pavel, Alex Velea, Alina Eremia, Otilia, Connect-R, Puya, Lil Chris, Mikke Ripper etc.) In 2010, Richard started his career as a Music Video Dire

ctor and founded the Bucharest based production company – Vision Production. Together with his brother, Claudiu Stan, Richard directed and produced over 100 music videos under the label Vision Production. Since 2005, Richard had been working also at the National Theatre of Bucharest, being responsible of the light design and video projections for various famous plays. In 2019, he won the title of ”Best Music Video Director” at Golden Panther Music Awards, which took place in New York.

Far from home, far from family… but so close to each other.
Venus Express wasn’t just a theatre project — it was two months of friendship, trust, effort, emotion, and mutual support.
Thank you, Cristina Florea, for having the “inspiration” to reach out. I truly missed theatre, and I was happy to find it again in the best possible way.
George and Cristina – nothing but respect and pride.
Joze and Jonny – you have a beautiful future ahead, and I’m grateful you accepted to be part of our project.
Thank you all for making LA feel a little less foreign.
Tomorrow is the final ride in the Fringe Festival… but we truly hope Venus Express will go much further from here. 🚀

Back to the stage — and it feels right.
I’m part of Venus Express at the Hollywood Fringe Festival this July at The Actors Company as Producer, Multimedia Designer, Light Designer, and Sound Designer.

Directed by my friend (who’s also performing), with my good friend , and more close friends in the cast.



It’s bold, intense, and full of life — and we’re bringing it to LA for just 6 shows this July.
