The cast of ‘The Diplomat’, including Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford, Ato Essandoh, Ali Ahn and Nana Mensah, joined us at the Robin Williams Center in New York for an advance screening and conversation about Season 4 of the Netflix drama.

The ensemble reflected on bringing Debora Cahn’s political drama to life and returning to their characters for another season. The event followed Keri’s Actor Award win earlier this year and Allison’s recent eighth Emmy win, tying the all-time record for performers. All eight episodes premiere October 15 on Netflix.

Actor and filmmaker Juan Pablo Di Pace (‘Fuller House’) joined us at the Meryl Streep Center in Los Angeles for a screening of ‘Before We Forget’, a semi-autobiographical drama he co-wrote, co-directed and stars in, followed by a conversation about bringing this personal story to the screen.

Inspired by his years at the United World College of the Adriatic in Duino, Italy, the film follows an Argentinian filmmaker struggling to finish a movie about his unrequited first love who gets an unexpected chance to revisit his memories and perhaps find a new ending to his story. Co-directed with Andrés Pepe Estrada, whom Juan Pablo met in high school, the film won the Audience Award for Narrative Feature at NewFest.

Remembering RJ Mitte. In this clip from our archives, RJ reflects on his early days as an actor and the audition process that brought him to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to read alongside Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn for the role of Walter White Jr. in ‘Breaking Bad’ and secure the part.

We’re grateful to look back on this moment from 2008 where RJ shared his experiences with our community.
