Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Here’s an oldie but goodie from when we first started Mini & Me Crafts in 2018!
Let the St. Patrick’s Day Crafting Begin! Here’s a fun and simple craft to do with your lucky little charm! 🍀 Supplies: Scissors, Glue, 1 Sheet of Green Construction Paper & 1 Sheet of White Card Stock 🍀 How-To: 1️⃣ Cut 5 Strips of Green Construction Paper 2️⃣ Take 4 Strips & Fold in Half 3️⃣ Dab Small Amount of Glue in the Fold & Hold for 30 Seconds Until Dry 4️⃣ Fold Each Side Over to Form Heart Shape 5️⃣ Glue Each End of Heart Together & Hold for 30 Seconds Until Dry 6️⃣ Repeat Steps 3-5 for Each Green Strip 7️⃣ Use the Last Green Strip to Create the Clover’s Stem by Making a U Fold 8️⃣ Glue the Ends of Stem Together & Hold for 30 Seconds Until Dry 9️⃣Arrange All 5 Pieces on White Card Stock to Form a Clover 🔟 Use Glue to Outline Each Piece & Secure In Place! 🍀 Voila! With schools closed, social distancing and the weather working against us here in Los Angeles, our lives and routines have been disrupted, including our children’s. Instead of being upset, scared or angry, let’s all stay safe and indoors and use it as a time to play and bond with our children! We’ve got no where to be except home and that’s a beautiful and rare thing given our busy lives.
Hope this schedule gives you some helpful ideas and ways to break up and structure the day! Children need to stay busy, happy and learning and we, parents, need to stay calm and sane! 🤣 Stay safe & healthy everyone! ❤️
