During our investigation at The Last Chair, things took a dramatic turn.

While Jack was participating in the Estes Method alongside SVC Explorers of the Unknown and Paranormal Investigators of New England, an unsettling presence began to make itself known.

As the session progressed, the communication became increasingly intense. The spirit appeared fixated on Perks, who was standing behind the bar. Through the Estes Method responses came a clear and repeated message:

“Get out.”

The aggression continued to build, and it became apparent that whatever entity we were communicating with was not happy about her presence in that area. Was it a former patron? A lingering spirit with a connection to the bar? Or something else entirely?

The atmosphere in the room shifted instantly as investigators watched the interaction unfold in real time.

🇺🇸🌲 A Strange Encounter Near a Revolutionary War Cemetery 🌲🇺🇸

While exploring a large stretch of private property consisting of hundreds of acres bordering an old Revolutionary War-era cemetery, Sean and I experienced something neither of us can easily explain.

As we made our way through the woods, we began hearing what sounded like footsteps moving around us. At first, we thought it could be wildlife, but the sounds seemed to circle our location and never revealed a source.

Then something even stranger happened.

Off in the distance, we heard what sounded like a single musket shot echo through the woods. The sound was unmistakable and completely out of place. There were no hunters nearby, no homes within earshot, and no obvious explanation for what we had heard.

Wanting to see if there was more to the experience, we asked aloud for a sign.

Not long after, we received one.

Whether it was a coincidence, a remnant of history lingering in the area, or something we cannot yet explain, the experience left us with more questions than answers. Considering the property’s proximity to a Revolutionary War cemetery, it’s hard not to wonder what stories these woods may still be holding onto.

While out exploring deep in the Adirondacks, we stumbled upon the remains of what appears to be an old settlement hidden away in the woods. Among the discoveries were the remains of old foundations, scattered artifacts, and an antique medicine bottle that has likely been resting there for decades.

It’s always fascinating to imagine the people who once lived and worked in these remote locations. Every artifact tells a story, offering a glimpse into a forgotten chapter of Adirondack history. From old homesteads and logging camps to abandoned communities reclaimed by nature, the North Country is filled with hidden pieces of the past waiting to be rediscovered.
