Thank you to the entire cast of tap dancers, actors and singers, and backstage crew for your commitment and dedication and an incredible run of performances. Thank you to Reggio “The Hoofer” McLaughlin who played the guest starring role of the Monster for the second consecutive year. Thank you to The Nocturne Theatre for the beautiful theater venue. Thank you to David Razowsky for taking these photographs at one of our dress rehearsals. Thank you to all of the amazing people involved in this production both last year and this year. ✨

Thank you to everyone who attended the November 2025 run of A Tap of the Creature’s Curse! The tap dance comedy musical was directed, created, and choreographed by Howard Blume and ran in both 2024 and 2025 at The Nocturne Theatre. Here are some memorable photos from the show this year with many more to come. Thank you to the entire cast of tap dancers, actors, singers and backstage crew for your commitment and dedication and an incredible run of performances. Any dancer and performer knows that when showtime is nearing close (….11 days!) life fills up with dancing, acting, and singing rehearsals. Here are some rehearsal photos for our upcoming musical show: A Tap of the Creature’s Curse.

This is the second year in a row that The Tapitalists are performing this 90-minute show in a large theater, but this time we have a new cast, new dancing, new added soloists, and new elements of the plot. ✨🎶 We also have many returning cast members including our star and “Monster” Reggio “The Hoofer” McLaughlin. And we will greatly miss those who were not able to return this year. We are so excited for show week which is just around the corner and we hope to see you at the Nocturne Theatre in Glendale on Nov. 8-9, 2025! ⚡️⭐️

⚡️More photos from last year’s run of A Tap of the Creature’s Curse! 1.) Reggio McLaughlin and Howard Blume lead one of our favorite musical numbers 2.) A trio of our advanced dancers—Rachel, Megan, and Madison—perform together after a scene that contains some incredible dance solos. 3.) The Proprietor (Suzy) handles The Inspector’s inconveniently timed city inspection (Jackie). 4.) The opening number, which contains a tango, a kick-line, boas, and more! 5.) 🎭 Last night, some of The Tapitalists performed two scenes from A Tap of the Creature’s Curse at a spooky-themed Cabaret in Los Angeles 💫 It was great fun and also the perfect performance opportunity for our dancers to warm up in front of an audience before our upcoming show. 21 days until A Tap of the Creature’s Curse opens at The Nocturne Theatre in Glendale, CA on Nov. 8-9 for three performances. A sneak peek from A Tap of the Creature’s Curse 2024. ⚡️✨ We loved performing this show last year about the mysterious Monster that descends upon the fictional industrial town of Vermin, California.
