All artists submitting work will show with the LA Printmaking Society at the LA Printers Fair and other venues highlighting fine art printmaking. GIVE & TAKE at LA PRINT SPACE -MARCH 18TH – MAY 9TH, 2014
The intention of the Give & Take exhibition and exchange portfolio is to showcase the work of printmakers nationwide. All artists who submit print editions will be exhibited. Both LAPS members a
nd non-members are welcome. LAPS encourages the inclusion of a wide range of approaches to printmaking, encompassing the traditional to the nontraditional/experimental, and desires to promote a venue for all relevant processes. LAPS opened the LA Print Space as a venue focused on exhibiting printmaking work to the Los Angeles community. The Give & Take exhibition is a way for printmakers to give back to the LAPS printmaking community through the funds raised by the sale of prints, and for printmakers to receive work of fellow printmakers through the exchange portfolio of 5 prints returned to each artist.
