TOMORROW! Back to our regular scheduled programming in Leimert Park! 🌴🍁Fall Season is here! Join us tomorrow for Slam Night The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center 9-11pm. All Ages Welcome! Audience, we need you to judge 👀 and bring the 🗣️ energy! Get ready to make noise for the poets and boo the judges! The Top 3 poets will move on to Semi-Finals in January for a spot to rep the 2027 DPL Slam Team, that will compete at national levels around the world. 🌍 Poets bring the heat🔥🏆 Venue entrance through the back alley/courtyard. 💥 Swipe ➡️ for rules/info 📜 Summer is over, but we keeping the heat up! 🔥🎤

THE FALL CALENDAR IS OFFICIALLY OUTTTT! And let’s just say… DPL we MOVINGGGG!👀😎🌴

We’re back to our regular Fall programming, which means we’re getting back into the swing of things AND SLAM SEASON IS HERE! 👀🏆 That’s right… DPL 2027 slam team is on the way!! So if you’ve been waiting for your moment, been sharpening your pen, or just been wondering when we were getting back to our regularly scheduled programming… THIS IS IT! And yes, we’re back home in LEIMERT PARK! ❤️🏡 We’re excited to return to where it all happens and even more excited to announce that we’ll be closing out the remainder of 2026 at the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center!🎭🎙️

We’ve got a whole lot coming your way, and we’re not slowing down just yet. From our regular Tuesday programming to Slam Season and everything in between, the rest of this year is looking REAL GOOD. 👀 Fall is here. Slam Season is here. We’re back in Leimert. No long speech, no big announcement, just know DPL is happening TONIGHT and y’all know what kind of time we on.😤
The room is gonna be packed with energy, the stage is gonna have some surprises, and somebody is bound to have us talking about their performance on the way home. So if you’re debating whether you should pull up… this is me telling you stop debating!!!
