Attend the tale… rehearsals have begun!

Yesterday was our first day of rehearsal for Sweeney Todd, and today brings our much-anticipated sing-through. Let the chills begin.

We’ve added a performance on Saturday, November 7 at 3PM. This is shaping up to be a sold-out run. Grab your tickets before they’re gone!

For some added fun we have a Costume Contest! Come celebrate spooky season! There will be a costume contest during intermission of each show from Oct. 30-Nov. 1. Winners will be announced at the end of intermission.

Extra show alert: the barber has room for one more. ✂️

The demand has been insane, so we're adding a second Sweeney Todd matinee on Saturday, November 7 at 3:00 PM at El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.

The Demon Barber just paid Santa Fe Springs a visit. 🩸✂️

Last week, members of our Sweeney Todd ensemble took over the Santa Fe Springs City Library for a concert preview, and the turnout was incredible. Thank you to everyone who packed the room, sang along, and let us give you a taste of the thrills ahead.

Before there were true-crime podcasts, there was Sweeney Todd. 🩸

In 1846, a serialized penny dreadful introduced London to a barber with a very unusual business model. It was the original binge, with weekly cliffhangers and a rumor that refused to die. More than a century later, Stephen Sondheim turned that legend into one of the greatest scores in musical theatre, and in 2007 Tim Burton brought it to movie screens around the world.

If you only know the movie, you haven't heard Sweeney the way Sondheim meant it: live, up close, with a full orchestra.
