My pieces deal with the discord of naughty words, q***r identity terms, feminist icons, and alien pin up girls; all hand-painted onto delicate vintage china, porcelain, and pottery. My aesthetic is about bittersweet juxtapositions, and each piece is one of a kind. I grew up in Los Angeles, and lived in New York and Montreal before coming back to LA to stay. I am inspired by bad bi***es who take no s**t, q***r community, jacaranda trees, and vintage pin ups. I have been making art for most of my life, because my mother is a fiber artist and I grew up around color and fabric and paint and light. I have been working with china, ceramics, and porcelain for the past 4 years.
