My pieces deal with the discord of naughty words, q***r identity terms, feminist icons, and alien pin up girls; all hand-painted onto delicate vintage china, porcelain, and pottery. My aesthetic is about bittersweet juxtapositions, and each piece is one of a kind. I grew up in Los Angeles, and lived in New York and Montreal before coming back to LA to stay. s**t, q***r community, jacaranda trees, and vintage pin ups. I have been making art for most of my life, because my mother is a fiber artist and I grew up around color and fabric and paint and light. I have been working with china, ceramics, and porcelain for the past 4 years.

Got medicine, tampons, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, baby formula, diapers, first aid, and other hygiene out to Mutual Aid orgs today. The total spent was about 2,200.00 Please donate if you can, I will be going out again tomorrow. Any extra will be distributed to direct Mutual Aid orgs helping people who have survived the fires here in Los Angeles. I was born in this city, I live in this city, I live this city. We keep us safe.

Important elections are on the horizon, with critical domestic and international implications. Recognizing that Activist Art is a powerful tool, this show explores the themes of peace, unity, political identity, diversity of opinion, and productive democratic discourse.
