Established in 1965, East West Players has been called “the nation’s pre-eminent Asian American theater troupe” (New York Times 12/16/01) for our award-winning productions blending Eastern and Western movement, costumes, language, and music. Happy closing to the phenomenal company of artists that brought ’s FLOWER DRUM SONG to life after 25 years since its last revival in LA. Thank you to the families, friends, and new fans that came to experience a show like no other, by AAPI artists for the AAPI community. Our little Club Chop Suey in Little Tokyo served historic Chinatown glamour night after night. Sharing some final praise from LA critics before last call brings the curtain down.

The Production Intern supports staff and freelance professionals in theater operations during the mainstage season and Theatre for Youth showcases. Interns gain experience with production, technical theater, project management, and logistics. This part-time role (15-20 hours/week) runs from June to November 2026 and offers a practical introduction to theater work.
