Our Story
In 1983, author, humanitarian and Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard donated a giant Christmas tree to the children of Hollywood and has continued as a yearly tradition ever since. Each year, the wintry setting opens on the night of the Hollywood Christmas Parade, signaling the start of the holiday season. The set is open throughout the month of December.
The set features a classic wintry setting with Santa’s house surrounded by a forest of over 50 real evergreen trees and a giant 60ft tree. The set is located in the heart of Hollywood, one block east of Highland. Families can enjoy live entertainment, activities for children and of course Santa is available for photos and to listen to the holiday wishes of all.
Admission to L. Ron Hubbard’s Winter Wonderland is free. The annual tradition is made possible by the Friends of L. Ron Hubbard.
