We offer a variety of art classes, including including printmaking, letterpress, painting, drawing, photography, etc.

🌸 Our spring event lineup is taking shape, here’s where you can find us this April!

After a rocky start to the year, to say the least, we’re so excited for events season to start! Besides teaching workshops and hosting programs at our studio, we love getting to pop up at different events and institutions around town, and are really stoked about the upcoming events we’ve been invited to participate at.

Here’s where to find us:

🦇 screenprinting custom totes with guests at First Fridays on April 4
🌿 teaching two back to back screenprinting workshops at on April 5 (advance registration required thru the Huntington’s site)
🤖 screenprinting custom totes at LA Makerfaire on the NHM lawn on April 12
🎪 Vending at day on April 13

Come out to one (or all!) of these events for community, creativity, sunshine, and good vibes, which we all need so badly right now!!

✨Art Supply Drive!✨
Hello all, we hope you and your loved ones are safe! As you may have seen, we’re going to be hosting an Art Supply Drive on January 26th! For this day we’ll be offering up art supplies to anyone who has been impacted by the fires in Los Angeles. If you have been impacted by the fires, please come by to get supplies for yourself, and if you know anyone who has been impacted please consider coming by to pick something up for them, or pass this info along to them! We would love if you could forward this information to anyone who it might be helpful for, as we’re trying to help as many people as we can.

✨ We will also be selling prints to help raise funds for fire relief on Sunday as well. We’ll have some of this past year’s SUPERNOVA Riso prints available, and some other goodies including acrylic jewelry and stickers. So please come out to support, even if you don’t need any supplies, you can still get yourself a little treat knowing that you’re helping a good cause!

✨ We are winding down our donations, and are transiting to focusing more on promoting the drive on Sunday! Please see our previous post for an updated list of supplies that we are currently accepting at our last drop-off session on Saturday from 12-5. Thank you so much to anyone who has already donated!!

💜 Please read - donation drive updates!!
Thank you for your generosity in our art supply donation drive! We are slowing down donations as we begin to reach capacity, and have revised our donation hours. Tonight’s donation hours have been cancelled, but please come drop off items this Saturday from 12-5pm.

We have also updated the items that we are looking for, and what we are not currently accepting. We’re good on fibers, drawing, and painting stuff, but are looking for tools and equipment for things like printmaking supplies (ink, carving tools, lino blocks, brayers), jewelry making stuff (pliers, beads, wire, findings), bookbinding supplies, clay and sculpting tools, and studio equipment like scissors, x-acto blades, glue guns, picture frames, and organizers.

The main thing we need help with currently is getting the word out to folks in our community who were affected by the fires and are need of art supplies!
Please share this post with anyone you think would benefit including:
-people who have been displaced due to the fire
-teachers who have welcomed displaced students to their classrooms
-teaching artists who are conducting workshops at shelters/for fire relief and need supplies
-artists who’ve lost their studio spaces
-children who lost their creative supplies
-anyone else who is struggling this month and could use some free supplies!

If this doesn’t apply to you but you still want to help, we will be selling prints and a few other goodies on Sunday during the art supply drive to help raise money for fire relief. So even if you don’t need supplies, please come out and buy a print! We hope to see y’all this Sunday!

💜 Donation drop-offs for our art supply drive start today!

Come thru with your donations of new or gently used* art supplies for our drive on Sunday! Donation hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5-8pm, and Saturday from 10am-5pm. Just show up at our studio with your donations during these hours and we will handle the rest!
Swipe thru to see a list of things we’re currently looking for. We’re good on yarn and fabric, but other items are encouraged!

*if you’re donating used items, please check them out with a discerning eye ahead of time. We don’t want to be passing along broken, dirty, or unusable items.

For our neighbors in need, please come through this Sunday when we will be handing out donated supplies from 12-5pm! If f you can’t make it yourself, feel free to send a friend or family member to pick stuff up for you.

Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out about this event! Please continue to share, especially with anyone who was affected by the fires and would benefit from art supplies! 🫶💖

💜 More info about our upcoming Art Supply Drive 💜

Have you been affected by the fires? We have art supplies for you! On Sunday January 26, we will be distributing donated art supplies for community members in need, as well as selling Risograph prints and a few other goods to raise funds for fire relief.

Want to help? You can support your neighbors by purchasing prints on the 26th, donating new or gently used art supplies, or sending $$ to our venmo and we’ll purchase supplies to distribute on your behalf!
If you’re donating supplies we will be accepting drop-offs at our studio on January 21, 22, and 23 at 5-8pm and January 25 at 10am-5pm. Please email us if you have questions about donations!

We are currently not seeking donations of artwork, but are planning another drive to give away artwork to those who have been displaced by the fire. We’re still working on putting this together, it’ll likely happen in the spring so keep an eye out for more info.

Please help us reach folks in the community who are in need and share this post with friends and family!

✨🪩 The rumors are true…SUPERNOVA is still on view!
The show has been extended thru the weekend, meaning you can check it out at any event this week, including the Holiday Craft Fair on Sunday! We’ll be there peddling our wares alongside dozens of other local artists, so it’s a great chance to see the show, say hi to us, and get your holiday shopping done while supporting independent artists!

💖 Thank you to the hot and kind folks at Jr High for asking us to keep the show up another week, and for being the all around greatest space in LA for arts programming in the community! We’re all so lucky to have u 💖

🪩✨ Thank you a million times over to everyone who came out to SUPERNOVA last night! We had a ball hanging out with everyone and seeing the joy on all your faces at getting to show off your work. We’ll have much more to say about it coming up, but for now, pls enjoy these pics of some of our our gorgeous and beloved studio volunteers, board members, and guest instructors with their pieces featured in the show!

❄️ That’s right, this month’s schedule drop is a double header, with December and January programs open for registration now! ✴️Come learn how to make your own stamp in this rad workshop taught by !

💟 In this workshop you’ll design your stamp and then use the very cool process of photopolymer plate making to create your stamp! This process uses UV light to process the plate, similar to photo emulsion for screenprinting or even cyanotypes! No carving required for these stamps!

⚡️ Tonight: Q***r Art Hang is back! We’re laser engraving custom keychains using our laser cutter! Come learn how to use one of our favorite pieces of equipment in our studio, and engrave whatever tf you want on a keychain. No experience required!
