Again, a rough sketch. I don't refine the sketches until they're commissioned. This obviously requires some trust on your part, but so does every job until it's done.

This can be tweaked to fit your desires. A different color, custom inlay design, a different technique to render the main figure. You're the one that will have to look at it every day. I work to please you, and please myself in that I'm proud of what I've painted.

Even though flags are public domain, Fender won't produce flag artwork for the sake of public relations. So if you'd like to see this on a masterbuilt Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster, you'll have to order it. You can order one from FCS through your local dealer or you can commission me to paint it on your favorite Strat.
This can be modified to fit another guitar model, too.

I may want to flip the woman so she's on the right of the bridge so more of her would show when the guitar is being played. The headstock work also needs refining. I'm not spending a lot of time on these until they're commissioned or I get bored and want to play with them.

This can be redesigned to fit another guitar model entirely. So many possibilities.

Everything here is a suggestion and the sketch itself is quite rough. Changes can be made to suit your tastes. When I work with a client, they're show the final sketch before I paint the guitar. Then they're shown the finished art before it gets cleared. You're a part of the entire process.

Here is the most wild change from sketch to finished product - Carlos Lopez was the masterbuilder of this Fender Custom Shop Strat. He picked this design and gave me the freedom to change it as I saw fit. It changed even more as I was painting it with the addition of monarch butterflies.
Whenever I do a sketch, I like to step away from it for a while and come back with fresh eyes. I always make changes for the better. I see things I didn't see before.
