I’m compelled to express how important Sid Krofft is, and how significant his creative contributions were, not only to me, but to almost every single artistic and interesting person that I know. Sid Krofft was a visionary, and on top of that, genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Although he had a great run, and leaves behind an amazing legacy, this is still a tremendous loss. But he and his fantastically fun, freaky, magical monsters and characters will live on forever. Sid Krofft was, and always will be awesome! ❤️

“We’re celebrating the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Symphonies for Youth concert, The Conductor, led by Ana María Patiño-Osorio and hosted by DJ Lance Rock at Walt Disney Concert Hall. It’s a fun and imaginative program that introduces families to the magic of how a conductor guides an orchestra.

Hello friends! It’s almost that time! The 25th annual DEVOtional is being held October 10 and 11th at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio. It’s going be a great weekend filled with many amazing bands playing live, Boojilicious doing devolved belly dance, and very special guest, David Kendrick of Sparks, Gleaming Spires, and DEVO (of course) fame. I’ll be joining the festivities as well, but first, will be kicking things off on Friday along with Davidian, for a four hour DJ set at Superelectric Pinball Parlor from 1-5 PM. Hope to see you there, it’s going to be awesome! Duty Now for the Future!

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

Hello friends!

If you’re in St. Louis this Sunday, September 7, you’ll get the chance to hear me deejay twice in one day! First up, an event decades in the making! I will finally be spinning records with my good friend, and the Pit Bull of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Jim Utz. We’ll be doing an afternoon vinyl spin from 12 noon to 4 PM at The Royale, located at 3132 S. Kingshighway.

After that, I will be participating in the Sunday Storytellers: Legends of Music & Radio series at Steve’s Hot Dogs and The Fountain on Delmar.
The event is from 5 to 8 PM, and I will be spinning a specially curated set of music from 6-7 PM of bands that I saw at Mississippi Nights. If you don’t know what that is/was, then we don’t want you there. Just kidding, everyone’s invited!

It will be an evening of stellar storytelling and musical memories. I’m looking forward to seeing old friends, and making some new ones this weekend, and hopefully, I’ll see you at one or both events. Either way, Sunday is going to be AWESOME!
