Ghost in the Tapestry I acrylic and color pencil

No one ever took to this piece. I would’ve done things a little differently today maybe, but I still keep it out and I still love it because it’s a really early instance of what would eventually become a very purposeful stylistic choice for me.

I was discovering something about myself. In a way, I look at the figure as both a ghost of the past and a new figure being birthed out of the darkness.
