Loiter Galleries Visual Artist Residency in partnership with Space in the Gap.
It is our joint mission to make affordable space available to artists.

▶️ Location: Downtown LA
▶️ Duration: 3 Months
▶️ Cost $250 per month
▶️ Application: Due by June 30

We are seeking artists for a three month self directed residency in Downtown Los Angeles. This space is meant to be an exhibition space and 24/7 studio to create work.

Long Beach Based artists are encouraged to apply and will be given special consideration.

Seeking Applicants Looking for space between June 7- September 9, 2023
Applications close June 30th, 2023.

Creation is dynamic, not static (Robert E. Weber). I've been
pondering this, letting it breathe into this painting. Inner
Workings prompts questions: What is occurring within me
and within the world - being knit together, formed deep in
The "soil.
" taking in breath for the first time? What is
occurring within me and within the world - being torn apart
destructively or refined into beauty? What am I mistaking
as static? What dynamic beauty am I, without notice,
passing by daily? Creation is ongoing and moving, even if
hidden from perception, dynamic. Do I see it?
