Creative Resilience is an artful community experience amplifying the voices of BIPOC Angeleno workers, sounding the call for economic justice, and celebrating our shared cultural history of resilience. Join us October 8-16 for an art show, performances, discussion, and a mutual aid expo. Sun Oct. 9 11am-10pm

MAÑANA A LAS 11: TALLER EN ESPAÑOL CON Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights: El departamento de compromiso cívico de CHIRLA fomenta la participación electoral entre inmigrantes, naciones, estudiantes de inglés y nuevos votantes difíciles de alcanzar en nuestras comunidades.

Nuestro trabajo educa a los votantes sobre el proceso electoral y los convence en participar en todas las elecciones, no solo en el ciclo presidencial. Votar tiene que ser cultural y personal, únase a una capacitación sobre cómo registrarse, como verificar el estado de su registro de votante y cómo estar preparado para el 8 de noviembre. Si nos empoderamos es ahí que cambiaremos Los Angeles.

We’re kicking off with a kids writing workshop from 826LA & the Time Travel Mart. Then, you have the opportunity to learn how you can protect yourself as a tenant in a workshop hosted by L.A. Tenants Union.

Hello everyone, unfortunately, tomorrow's 'Let's Grow' Workshop with Celebrity Chef and Master Gardener Rod Dodd has been canceled.

We encourage you to still come out tomorrow for your LAST CHANCE to experience the art, and to immerse yourselves in the music of DJ Budgie and Jimetta Roses & The Voices of Creation.

Today we've got a full day of programming, filled with workshops about community organizing and resisting evictions; and writing for kids 8-12. We've also got DJ sets by Anthony Valadez, Novena Carmel and Rich Medina.
