No joke: 🌿I'm happy to announce I'm collaborating on a new project with the talented writer and animator Justice Morgan (). He's got a great vision for his original story "Green Thumb": a young girl, the world's last gardener, discovers that the plants she grows are starting to become sentient.

Here's the thing. I'm already locked in to my computer 8hrs a day, 5 days a week for work. It's reeeeeeeeally hard to sit at my computer for even longer to do art on top of that. Especially because my setup is not portable.

This one-page notebook works for right now and I can see it being a helpful learning experience:
- Quickly decide and commit to illustrations (build confidence)
- Forgo any references (test memory)
- Come to peace with mistakes (humble dat ego)

Where have I been? Great question.

For the past 6 months we've been busy picking up our lives from PA and moving to Southern California. It's been a huge transition and we're still adjusting but we are good. God is good.

Just wanted to share about the process and some quick stories in hand-drawn sketches... not only to make some kind of record of our adventures but to get back into drawing consistently.
