unbowed: AGAINSTtheLIEofORDER holds the body in tension — not as defiance for spectacle, but as quiet resistance. A posture learned through survival. A spine that remembers every time it was asked to soften, submit, disappear.

This piece has lived downtown for the last 3 months but… this is its final week.

It’s a work about vulnerability. About allowing ourselves to be witnessed, even when we’d rather disappear. It’s layered in grief, gold, and the fragile beauty of choosing to stay open.

This is the one piece I left up for July’s DTLA ArtNight

Exquisite Risk is a portrait of transformation. A meditation on exposure, resistance, and the sacred choice to be seen even when it hurts. Each mark, layer, and word was built from conversations with fear, power, hope, and grief. It asks:
What does it cost to truly look at yourself—and let yourself be looked at?
