Some pics of The Shlug! I’ve wanted to create this bad boi for a while now. It was so much fun trying to combine an Irish man in the pub with a slug and so I came into this class with a sketch and reference images. is an incredible teacher and helped me execute my idea in just a week! I’ve learned so many tricks and techniques to sculpting and had an amazing time during this class. This course leaves you feeling motivated and confident and I highly recommend!!

Late upload but here is my finished final project! The Kapre is a mysterious giant that is known to hide in the dense jungles of the Philippines. A stalker of the night, he watches humans closely as they pass by, blending into his surroundings as he sits upon a large tree branch. With humanistic attributes, the Kapre has been described as 7-10ft tall with brown skin, long hair, a beard and dark piercing eyes. Using the accounts from Filipino people and through extensive research, I attempted to bring this creature to life! For more information on this project visit www.jacqsmyth3d.com.
