The Omar Raddad case is undoubtedly the most fascinating judicial case in French history. Imagine this: a Moroccan gardener accused of murdering his wealthy employer, with whom he had always maintained an excellent relationship. This entire accusation stemmed from a blood-stained inscription on the cellar wall of the victim’s home that ominously declared Omar killed her. But did he really do it ? You’ll find out.

This case has always deeply affected me because it tells the story of a man who was wrongly accused, guilty only of being different. Guilty of being an immigrant, illiterate, Moroccan, poor, different. Omar Raddad is a man who has never stopped proclaiming his innocence. He is a man whom the public supported because it was impossible to believe he was the murderer we were led to think he was. For the first time, I have conducted my own investigation into this case, and I invite you all to discover this captivating story with me.

This project is dedicated to all those who have paid the price for their differences and who, because of the wrong skin color or the wrong passport, found themselves punished and deemed guilty no matter what they did. To all who have faced such injustice, stay strong.
