I finally sampled the copycat chicken minis from Chick-fil-A. They are truly delightful! I had all the necessary ingredients available.

Chicken nuggets: purchased from Sam’s for $13.98 for 3 lbs (I only used 16 nuggets).

Sister Shubert rolls: $3.48 (from Walmart).
Honey: 2 tablespoons.
Butter: 4 tablespoons.

This meal certainly cost less than $10 for my son and me.

Recipe: Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Place the rolls in the oven covered with foil for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, arrange 16 chicken nuggets on a baking sheet and place it in the oven alongside the rolls. After 7 minutes, turn the chicken nuggets over. Continue baking until the time is up. Once finished, remove everything from the oven. Flip the rolls onto a plate and slice through them, placing the bottoms in a pan. Insert a chicken nugget into each roll and place the top halves back on. Finally, drizzle your honey and butter mixture over the top.
