Brand new shower, grout still looks wet 12 hours after shower. This is a $20k bathroom shower remodel. I'm not going to use all the right words, so please forgive me. We picked a tile Redi pan and epoxy grout for the shower. The grout was done a couple of weeks ago, so it should be cured. All the perpendicular edges have ceramic/sanded caulk (not silicone). We've only had three showers so far. My husband took a shower about 12 hours ago, but the grout still looks wet. I got after our contractors to ensure they were using the correct thinset when installing the pan. They used a Schluter on some of the joints higher up, but I had them purchase the correct thinset for everything else. We called Redi Tile, and they said this should be fine. The walls are Kerdi board. The drain does have the Schluter bead line metal ends to cap off the tiles. I don't know; I'm lost. I'm bathroom poor, and I just want to enjoy my primary bathroom. Please help me understand what's happening here.

Hi everyone. My business has been cleaning for this client for over a year and a half. Today, while dusting, we accidentally shifted the glass cover of her nightstand and dented the wall. See photo. We asked how to make it right, letting her choose between us fixing it ourselves (not complicated) or taking $100 off her cleaning. She wants to go through our insurance because she wants it fixed and the entire bedroom wall repainted. Is this taking advantage?

Husband is upset that I spent $700 on this imported rustic screen door, but I love the warmth it brings.
(Context, house in my very middle class suburban neighborhood. Was going door to door to find our missing cat and walked up to this gem of a screen door. It’s attached to a nicely painted and manicured home and looks so odd.)

Freshly Painted House • Shutters or no shutters? Just painted the front of my parents' duplex home this white (they own half of it). It used to be gray with navy shutters. The side of the home is cedar shingles, but I'm focused on the front for this. Wondering if it looks better with shutters or without? The top photo is as it is freshly painted, and the bottom photo is AI-generated with the shutters and color they chose to paint them. I strongly believe the home looks much better as is, without shutters. While some family members think the blue seems to look better.
