For a long time, I believed that the things that would finally change my actor career were:

• a big audition
• a powerful agent
• o big lucky break

And sure — those things can help.

But the biggest shift in my career happened when I stopped waiting for someone else to define my trajectory and started creating my own.

Creating my own demo reel material.

And reframing the credits I already had as a roadmap for where I wanted to go — not just a record of where I’d been.

Your materials shouldn’t just document your past.

They should signal your future.

Your Actors Access profile shouldn’t just be a résumé.
It should be a trailer for the career you’re building.

This idea is actually at the heart of what I teach inside Casting DNA — helping actors strategically shape their casting profiles and demo materials so casting immediately understands who they are and where they fit.

When I suddenly lost my agent after 10 years, my managers told me I would probably need to spend some time agentless.

The industry was slow.
I didn’t have shiny new credits.
And it wasn’t exactly the best climate for actors looking for representation.

Honestly… they were probably right.

And yet, within two months I ended up meeting with 12 theatrical agents in Los Angeles and signing with my top choice boutique agency.

In this new video I break down exactly what I did — including:

• The outreach strategy that got agents to open my emails
• The way I prepared my casting materials before reaching out
• What I learned from meeting with so many agents
• And the surprising shift in power that happened along the way
