Love as mystery…

Stone and Light

(An absolutely GORGEOUS silver gelatin hand-printed. The darks are so rich. And the texture on the stone is amazing.)

Mysterious carved objects dating from the Stone Age are some of the first known art objects in existence.
The Venus of Willendorf (2nd image) is thought to be ~30,000 years old.

No one knows exactly what these small hand-sized objects are for.
A fertility goddess?
Paleolithic p**n?
A pregnancy manual?

Their exact meaning is unknown.

This group exhibition showcases work curated by Aaron Tilford, founder/ publisher of the independent literary art journal S***k Art & Perspectives. Work by the artists in the exhibition is featured in S***k no.15.
