Devin Daniels will be showcasing his latest project: Call of the Void, combining his jazz chops with his love for electronic music. With him, he will be bringing to the stage: Julien Knowles (Julien Knowles ), Logan Kane (Logan Kane 🐱 ) and Adam Hersh Adam Hersh)

After graduating from the 2023 class of the reknowned Herbie Hancock Institute Devin has quickly come to be described nationally as a young lion of jazz with his perfect pitch saxophone sounds and outrageously creative compositions.

Brazilian guitarist Celso Salim (Celso Salim) brings his blues rock sound to Sound Dhaba in downtown LA, accompanied by Mike Hightower on bass & Dan Potruch on drums

Celso has shared the stage with blues greats Magic Slim, Larry McCray, and Jimmy Hall, and opened for legends such as B.B. King, Deep Purple and Joe Bonamassa. With six solo albums, he earned 3rd place at the 2019 International Blues Challenge and received 5 Independent Music Awards including one for best blues album.

Sound Dhaba is looking forward to sharing his music tonite, with you.

So excited to launch a new collaboration with Sound Dhaba on Aug 23 (2pm)!

Letters to Asha Tai is a deeply personal musical tribute dedicated to the incomparable legacy of the legendary playback singer, Asha Bhosle.
This event unfolds as a series of intimate musical “letters” - each song a personal expression of admiration, gratitude, and affection for an artist whose voice has been a constant companion through countless lives.
Presented by Soumya Nair Soumya Nair | Singer Songwriter and her band, Silk Sound, Letters to Asha Tai reinterprets beloved songs with heartfelt sincerity, honoring the emotion, artistry, and individuality that defined Asha Bhosle’s remarkable journey.

The afternoon opens with an ARTRONIKA performance featuring artist, Norton Wisdom Norton Wisdom painting on a fiberglass canvas using watercolors to create a series of continuously evolving ephemeral images. Ireesh Lal Ireesh Lal provides the soundscape playing trumpet and synths over an eclectic mix of world and electronic music. Neel Agrawal Neel Agrawal completes the trio adding live tabla and percussion to the mix.
Delicious pani puri (Indian snack) will be available for guests to enjoy - arrive early!
After the Asha Bhosle concert, we transition into an Acid Jazz / World Music jam session hosted by Ireesh Lal showcasing several talented musicians.
