Malcolm X, May 19, 1925 - February 21, 1965 was an African-American Muslim minister and human rights activist who was a leading figure during the civil rights movement.
Although it is his birthday when Malcolm X Day is celebrated, February 21 is the day he was assassinated in New York City.
Art pays homage to him in this mural located in Los Angeles, made just above a previous mural in honor of another human rights defender, Dr. Martin Luther King. Tristan Eaton made both murals but the MLK one was destroyed, so the artist decided to support the Black Lives Matter movement with this one from MX.

It looks like it can be seen at York Blvd. and N. Ave. 50 in Highland Park. Have you been there?

Malcolm X, 19 de mayo de 1925 - 21 de febrero de 1965 fue un ministro musulmán afroamericano y activista de derechos humanos que fue una figura destacada durante el movimiento de derechos civiles.
Aunque es el día de su cumpleaños cuando se celebra el día de Malcom X, el 21 de febrero es el día en que fue asesinado en la ciudad de Nueva York.
El arte le rinde homenaje en este mural situado en Los Angeles, realizado justo encima de un mural anterior en honor de otro defensor de los derechos humanos, el Doctor Martin Luther King. Tristan Eaton, realizó ambos murales pero destrozado el de MLK fue destrozado, por lo el artista decidió apoyar al movimiento Black Lives Matter con este de MX.
