SYNOPSIS: It's three days after the demise of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers; Verona is in mourning, Benvolio and Rosaline are heart-broken... but the two schemers have a plan. They've independently procured magical elixirs from Apothecary with hopes of bringing their beloveds back to life. But when they accidentally double-up their dosage, something goes wrong... horribly, deliciously wrong. Now it’s up to Friar Laurence, Juliet’s Nurse, Shylock of "The Merchant of Venice," and Beatrice of "Much Ado About Nothing," and a whole lot of Balthasars to right the world again.

💟David Reynalds in "Runed" (pretty sure?) the spoof of "Casting the Runes" at "A Night at the Mausoleum" at Mountain View. Either 2014 or 2015.

🔥Maria Lee in "A Ghost Story." This was at Pasadena Central Library back in 2009, and perhaps the best photo of any of our readings ever!

The very first appearance of WIcked Lit was at Chance Theater back in October 2008, a year before our debut production ay Greystone Manor in 2009. I can't find any photos of that performance 🤣 but here are some other pics of readings from over the years. Anyone remember which plays are being performed in these photos and where? I'll post the answers on Wednesday. 😎

The Unbound Productions-developed "The Legend(s) of Sleepy Hollow" can be yours for keepsies - or makes a great gift! Based on the Wicked Lit adaptation (2009 at Greystone and 2013 at Mountain View Mausoleum), this 65-minute version picks up where the original left off and then tells the REAL story from te point of view of the one character who really knows what's what - Ichabod Crane's horse, Gunpower. World premiere at Chance Theater in 2015 and has since been produced around the globe.
