Six months into dating Hannah Hosking, Cody Ennis learned about her alopecia. Half-jokingly, she said if he ever grew his hair out, she’d want 30 inches of it for a wig.

He didn’t laugh it off. He grew his hair for nearly four years — braiding it, sleeping in silk bonnets, no haircuts, no shortcuts.

When it finally reached 30 inches, he had it made into an $899 lace-front wig. Hannah cried when it arrived, then wore it the next morning before he was even awake.

For “Dress as Your Favorite Person Day,” most kids pick superheroes. One Arkansas kindergartner picked the school security guard.

His mom put together a matching uniform, and he showed up looking like a mini version of the man who greets him every morning. The officer had no idea he meant that much to a five-year-old.

Turns out the guy who makes you feel safe every day can be somebody’s favorite person too.

When the 2023 strike shut Hollywood down, Willem Dafoe became a farmer.

On his land near Rome, he keeps alpacas, goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and one “renegade” ram — not for meat or profit, just company. He’s vegetarian, and calls the animals “the other people” on the farm.

No red carpet. Just a quiet life spent making sure they’re taken care of.

Carmelo was a stray on the streets of Cochabamba, Bolivia, before a local rescue group placed him with the Franciscan friars at the San Francisco monastery.

The brothers didn’t just take him in — they gave him his own small habit and a new name: Friar Bigotón, “Friar Moustache,” for his scruffy whiskers. “Here, all of the brothers love him very much,” friar Jorge Fernandez said. “He is a creature of God.”

A shelter dog became a monastery’s newest brother — habit and all.
