Mission Statement:

Named after the famous Angel of the Waters fountain in New York’s Central Park, Bethesda Repertory’s mission is to provide healing and inspiration to our community through the medium of theatre. We ourselves have benefited from the transformative power of live storytelling, and we believe in using this art form to illuminate our society’s present-day challenges. Our intention is to give voice to the underrepresented communities, including the LGBTQ+ community and people of all skin tones, shapes, and sizes. We aim to shine light on mental health and to tell stories addressing our collective shame and trauma. Our company is driven by an ensemble of actors who maintain a deep love for their craft and view their own work as a means of contribution to a greater good.
