So incredibly humbled to be awarded a bronze pin at the Strolling magic Showdown at . And congratulations to the other two winners and all the contestants who competed and left it all on the strolling floor!

The Strolling magic competition has been going on for 23 years and this year’s competition was beyond stacked. 30 contestants and judges, over 100 people in the room and nearly 2 hours of nonstop magic performance! It truly is a marathon of magic, and to be one of the three selected at the end by a panel of 30 judges is a true honor!

I attended my first strolling magic showdown September of 2017, and I remember being blown away by the talent in the room (including my future Magic partner ). Back then I never would have dreamed I’d one day compete in it, let alone bring home an award! It is never easy traveling and leaving my family home to pursue an individual award, so this is all thanks to my supportive wife for keeping our home life so stable!

That’s a wrap on a 25 shows at the gorgeous Carter the Great theatre! Grateful for this beautiful venue and the opportunity to perform for over a thousand people this week. Thank you to everyone who came to show support, to and for the lovely , to for trusting me with the stage, and to all the magicians and staff who made this week a blast. The most important and influential decision in your life is who you choose (and chooses) to be your partner, and I’m truly blessed to have at my side! My goal in life is to keep growing as a husband, father, magician, and scientist in an equally balanced way, and you make it easy to do so!
