Eazy E would have turned 61 on September 7!

Eazy-E (Eric Wright) was the pint-sized hustler from Compton who flipped his street smarts into rap history. With his trademark shades, jheri curl, and mischievous grin, he helped form N.W.A, dropping rhymes that shook America and gave gangsta rap its crown. Known as the “Godfather of Gangsta Rap,” Eazy had a voice that cut through speakers like no one else — sharp, high-pitched, and unforgettable. Whether running Ruthless Records or stirring up trouble with his rivals, he always kept it bold, raw, and unapologetically Eazy.

This is a pencil drawing of that one of my previous art students drew!

I had the honor of tattooing her recently, and she gifted it to me 🤩💖🤩 I’m overjoyed, grateful and humbled! Many don’t know this, but I was a Green Day super fan when I was a teenager, and they were my first concert when I was 12. This student and I spent a lot of time talking about Green Day while I was still a teacher in Canada 😋

She asked to not be linked, but her name is Rusel and she is utterly amazing 🥹
