Breaking News via : New York City’s is bringing science fiction to the terminal with the debut of an AI-powered hologram concierge designed to help travelers find gates, lounges and baggage claim through face-to-face conversations.

The digital assistant, nicknamed “Bridget,” was unveiled this week inside Terminal B, where the hologram chats with passengers in real time and helps them navigate the busy area.

Unlike prerecorded holograms used elsewhere for greetings or ads, Bridget responds to travelers’ questions conversationally, offering directions to gates, baggage claim, lounges and shops.

The hologram speaks multiple languages, and includes accessibility features such as closed captioning and wheelchair-friendly controls.

Airport officials say the system is designed to support — not replace — human customer service staff, especially during crowded travel periods.

“Most people think of airports as stressful and confusing environments, but LaGuardia’s Terminal B leads the world in changing all that,” said David Nussbaum, founder of Proto Hologram.

Nussbaum said the technology will provide a more personalized experience “in ways that feel natural and intuitive,” adding “the future of travel has begun at LaGuardia.”

The hologram currently stands near Terminal B’s food hall, with additional units expected to roll out across the terminal’s concourses.

LaGuardia’s Terminal B has become known for testing new travel technology as airports increasingly look for ways to speed up navigation and reduce passenger frustration.

People walking through the mall thought they were looking at a movie trailer. Then star suddenly started talking to them LIVE from inside a Proto hologram.

And yes… people completely freaked out. 😂

Inde beamed in live through the Proto Hologram platform onto the Hologram Media Network to surprise unsuspecting shoppers and promote the new thriller Obsession.

The reactions were incredible. Confusion. Shock. Nervous laughter. People backing away. Then pulling out their phones the second they realized what they were seeing.

This is what happens when entertainment leaves the flat screen and enters the physical world in real time.

Movies, music, sports, AI personalities, live appearances, fan engagement, retail theater… we’re watching the beginning of a totally new medium for audience interaction.

And honestly, horror/thriller activations in hologram form hit VERY differently in a mall. 😳

Over the last 30 days on the Proto Hologram Instagram page alone:

• 3,002,762 views
• 203,708 interactions
• 1.2M+ accounts reached
• 1,941 new followers
• 62 pieces of content posted

97.9% of my views came from NON-followers.
98.6% of my interactions came from NON-followers.

That means the vast majority of people seeing and engaging with the content had never followed (and most likely never even heard of) us before.

Too many people wait to “build a huge audience” before they start creating consistently. In reality, consistency IS the audience-building strategy.

Most creators dramatically underestimate volume.
I posted 60+ times on Instagram in 30 days… and that doesn’t even include LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, or X.

The internet rewards repetition, experimentation, and persistence far more than perfection.
