Playing on our stage will do absolutely nothing for your career.

But hanging out and connecting with other musicians and creatives in the room will.

“I met my music video director there.”

“I met my songwriting partner there.”

“I met a producer I’m working with there.”

These are real things people have told me in the last few months. These are a few examples of the connections that will shape your future as an artist. No amount of applause will bring these connections to you. Saying hello and starting a conversation with someone new, however, is where it all begins.

I get a lot of messages asking how they can submit to perform. The answer is the same every time: come hang.

So, if you haven’t done so yet, come hang with an open heart and open mind on a Wednesday convenient for you. It’s amazing how far simply being present will get you in life. ❤️🍻

This week, we've got a STACKED lineup performing in Nashville-style writers rounds at The North End of Hollywood.

Recent Songland winner Greg Scott will be joining in-demand performer Ada Pasternak, who combines virtuoso violin with a catchy pop sensibility, in Round 1 with Youngtones frontman Luke Wade, who you've also heard on The Voice, and blows away this room every time he performs.

Round 2 will feature hit songwriter and amazing artist Jacob Luttrell, who has worked with pop stars including Enrique Iglesias, Charlie Puth, and Jason Derulo. Lucy Clearwater, a rising star in the LA music scene, will join him, alongside another pro songwriter, Warren Sellers, who has been a staff writer for several Nashville-based publishers over the years.

AND we even offer 6 people in the audience the chance to hop on stage throughout the evening for our open-mic rounds. Drop your name in the briefcase by the stage by 8:30 PM to be considered!

Y'all coming to Writers Room at The North End of Hollywood this Wednesday night!?

You're not going to want to miss Casey Shea, the frontman of LA rock band Grand Canyon, sharing his undeniable talent alongside Grammy nominee Wes Hutchinson, and other fabulous performers taking the stage throughout the night.

Facebook has proven to be the WORST social media platform, as it's hard to tag and/or even find artists on here, so FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM for weekly lineup announcements, performance videos, and live streams.

We're going to figure out how to use this page in a way that serves the singer-songwriter community we're grateful to host every Wednesday, so don't unfollow this page off, either. It's just too much of a hassle to post lineups here. We'll start doing something cool with it in the coming weeks!

It’s almost Wednesday, which means we are almost back at The North End of Hollywood for another great evening of listening, playing, hanging and connecting with amazing singer-songwriters in orbit of the Los Angeles music scene.

ROUND 1 will feature Charlie Lubeck, Phoebe Silva and Sam Stokes

ROUND 2 welcomes Westerner frontman Cooper Bombadil (an LA rock staple seen and heard on BuzzBands.LA) with Eddie Navarro and folk duo Common Allies.

We welcome singer-songwriters to toss their name in the 🎩 for open mic rounds, in between and after our curated rounds.
